The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) will be 31 years old this month.  In honor of that significant achievement, the EHCC is proud to present a live Zoom discussion of the arts on the Big Island, "Renaissance of Inclusion: Arts and Accessibility," on Wednesday, July 28 at 5:00 PM.  Our guest speakers will be EHCC collaborators Mar Ortaleza, Director of Programs for Full Life and founder of Abled Hawai'i Artists; and Rose Adare, Board President of the Kipaipai Art School and Foundation.

EHCC Online presents Lecture Series: A Conversation with Andrzej Kramarz 

Photographer Andrzej Kramarz, EHCC’s gallery director and curator, has had a fascinating journey. Author, teacher, publisher, curator, and radical arts activist as well as accomplished artist in his native Poland, he has brought those experiences here to Hawai’i where they continue to feed his ideas, his art, and his exhibitions at the EHCC. Youth Ceramics with Monika Mann- Session 2

Session 2 is open to both, students currently enrolled in the Session 1 (Age range has changed) as well as new students.
 
Students will learn hand-building and wheel-throwing techniques in the context of fun self directed projects. Topics will include mask making, creature sculpting, painting, carving, and functional ware such as mugs and bowls. 
  • Session 2:  Mondays & Wednesdays from June 14, 2021- July 26, 2021 (6 weeks) 3:00-5:00 PM.
